Thursday, September 30

This afternoon I had lunch with the Iverson Family, which grows every time I see them.  It was so great to catch up with Kimberly since I have not seen her in about a year.  The kids have gotten so big and I got to meet the newest addition, Benjamin Zion.  I really needed to hear a lot that Kimberly had to say on some topics and she really gets me thinking about a lot.  It is always such a joy to spend time with her and the kids.  We also had some amazing pasta salad and fruit salad for lunch :) yummm!!
Then, once Kate and Keith got home from work we got ready to head to Old Town for Bike Night!  I had my FIRST motorcycle ride ever, which was AMAZING, and a friend from FSC met up with us to hang out for a little.  It was great seeing an old face.  Kate and I also went up on this sling shot thing, which was pretty scary but probably the most fun thing EVER.  After a night of excitement its now time for bed. Off to the beach tomorrow, I need some color, and then flying to West Palm Beach tomorrow night!

Flight 1- Orlando, FL

I am sitting in Newark Airport, delayed a half hour due to bad weather wherever the plane is coming from. It's given me a chance to catch up on my reading (which most of you know doesn't happen very often). I cannot believe that I am finally here, it feels like forever ago I was counting down the months. It looks like it is going to be crummy weather the whole time I am in Florida but as my Aunt Janet said "its more about who your with.". Cannot wait to see Kate, its been just about 2 years since our last adventure together! So excited!
Well time to get back to reading, talk to you all once I am in Florida!

The packing and preperation

I leave in less than a week and the packing and running around is getting very stressful.  I am working right up til the last day I leave so making sure all doctors appointments, shopping, and documents are all in order before the big departure.  It's finally becoming very real.  I cannot wait to leave and embark on this great adventure.  Stay tuned for the actual departure and adventure details :)
